God loves you
The Bible says that God IS love. 1 John 4:8, 16
His love is not conditional upon what you do or don’t do. His love is pure and perfect. God can’t help but love because it’s not what He does ... it’s WHO He is.
God wants a relationship with you!
In the Bible God invites you by saying “Come unto me” because He cares about your concerns. He loves you and wants to be there for you – a personal relationship between God and you. Unfortunately, though, there is something getting in way of that loving relationship. God is holy (without sin) and people are born with the natural tendency to do wrong (sin). Sin is breaking God’s laws and is the problem.
The Bible says...
For all have sinned Romans 3:23a
There is none righteous, no not one Romans 3:10 But your iniquities (sins) have separated you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you.
If all have sinned then YOU have sinned.
The Bible says that sin requires that a penalty (payment) must be paid...For the wages (payment) for sin is death... Romans 6:23a
There is HOPE...
but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23br Lord. Romans 6:23
God has made a way to enjoy a loving relationship with you. He has sent His Son, Jesus Christ…just for you.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
In this was manifested (shown) the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9
Jesus Christ came to allow the way to have a relationship with God by paying the price for your sins.
Jesus said, I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6He (Jesus) gave himself for our sins. Galatians 1:4b Jesus, the Son of God, loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20b
Jesus paid for your sins when He died on the cross.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Because Jesus paid the price for your sins you are not required to pay for them. He paid it for YOU!
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Timothy 1:15b The just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18a Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:16
